Options And Accessories
Timber flooring kits:
There are two types of timber flooring kits for the cedar sheds –
- Standard rebated floors &
- Heavy duty floors
Standard rebated floors:
These are made to provide a platform onto which your shed can be secured to. They are made to lay directly on to a flat & level ground.
These floors are rebated i.e. they provide a raised decking section inside the shed. The walls extend past the internal decking & sit on the floor frame at a lower level. This assists in minimising weather penetration from under the walls. Made of treated pine building materials.
Heavy duty floors:
These are made to provide a platform onto which your shed can be secured to. The heavy duty floor option allows (where required) for the floor to be elevated with the use of posts. Ideal for slopes or damp areas. Larger floor joists are used to accommodate elevated loads – Top decking boards are the same as those used on the standard floor.
Conversion to double colonial doors:
This shed can have its single hinged door upgraded & converted to have two(2) colonial doors. Each door is supplied with fixed tinted acrylic windows.
Door clearance dimensions for the double doors are as follows – 1885mm H x 1440mm W
Opening tinted acrylic windows:
Optional opening windows are in addition to any standard window inclusions (fixed or opening) that are supplied with this model.
They can be placed in each side wall, or rear wall. Each wall is made up of multiple panel sections, that are fixed together. The window can be positioned in the centre of one of these individual panel sections. (Note: This may not be the horizontal centre of the completed wall width)
6ft Loft shelf:
In this model the loft shelf is made to be fitted towards the top of either side wall of this shed.
Skylight:
The skylight is a poly carbonate sheet that replaces a metal roof sheet. It is opaque & allows diffused natural light to enter the shed.
Lean-Too Or Annex Addition:
The lean-too or annex additions provide additional undercover usable space.
The difference between the two is their width. The lean-too is 1150mm wide (including roof overhangs) & the annex is 2050mm wide. The length of of both the lean-too & annex is determined by the shed model – as they run the entire length of the roof dimension they are fixed to.
On models that have the gables at the front (where the standard door(s) are located) – the lean-too & annex runs down the side wall of the shed & protrudes out from the side wall.
On models that have the gables in the side walls & the front (where the standard door(s) are located) has the roof line slopping down towards the front wall- the lean-too & annex runs across the front width of the shed & protrudes forward over the front wall.

Receiving Your Order:
It is extremely important that attention is paid before you sign for and receive the goods. Signing for the goods denotes the customer has received all goods as ordered & that they are in a good and fit condition.
Even though great care is exercised by both the manufacturer and their freight carrier and agents, in some circumstances, the goods may either be damaged in transit, or be issued in error or incomplete.
The following steps should be followed to ensure you are receiving the complete product you have ordered:
√ Check the product/model no. on all box labels, to ensure it agrees with the item you have ordered (this information is noted on your web order confirmation and emailed tax receipt)
√ Check the box labels to verify that all the boxes that make up your model no. are presented. Box labels will show how many packs make up that model. For example – The box label will shown the Model No. & then state that the particular box is number __ from a total of __. If the label says that the box you are looking at is pack 1 of 2, then there should be a second pack. Please check that second box/pack to ensure it is the correct one for the ordered model, by checking the model number shown.
Damages & Shortages:
Within thirty (30) days of the receipt of the goods, you should inspect the product(s) in its entirety. The inspection is to satisfy that the product is in sound condition & is complete. You must notify discountsheds.com.au (the retailer) of any fault, damage or shortages of the goods and their component parts. We will then contact the manufacturer and lodge your claim request, along with our instruction for timely corrective measures, where required.
Do not attempt to assemble the product until you are in possession of all required components. This is ascertained by following the manufacturers’ written general instructions in the assembly manual. Carefully unpack the carton(s). Identify and check off the included parts and components against the parts illustrated and described in the manual. Partial and incomplete assembly (whilst waiting for the supply or re-supply of any reported missing or damaged parts) may result to damage to the structure, for which the retailer and the manufacturer are not responsible for.
Great care is employed by both the manufacturer and their freight carrier and agents, in supplying you with your quality product. Although it may be an exception to the general rule, errors in dispatching or damages incurred in the transportation of the product, may occur. To rectify and resolve this issue expeditiously, the shortage or nature of the damage should be reported in as much detail as possible. In order to initiate the supply or reissue of missing or damaged components, the manufacturer’s require the following in a written email, for their action –
- The email is to reference your Discountsheds.com.au Tax Invoice/Receipt Number (as emailed to you by Discountsheds.com.au upon processing of your online or phone order). Note this is different to the automatically generated web order ID. It allows us to identify your order & index it to the manufacturers reference number for your transaction.
- The email is to be forwarded to: sales@discountsheds.com.au
- The email is to list any and all, missing or damaged parts that require reissue or replacement (tabled in one item of correspondence). This information must be sourced & noted from the products assembly manual components list, as follows: Quantity, Part Description, & Part No.
If a claim is being made for parts that are damaged, the manufacturers require photos to be attached to your email, that clearly show the damage referred to. Please include adequate detail in the photos for the manufacturer to review the nature and extent of the damage. Photos from afar ( a few steps back showing damages to packaging or material), as well as close up detail, to show damage to parts – would be ideal.
These submissions are requested & required by the manufacturers. It is important for their quality assurance program and where applicable, their possible freight insurance claims.
